BPSSC Bihar Police SI Admit Card 2025 Released – Prelims Exam Date Announced

The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has announced the release of the admit card for the Preliminary Examination of Police Sub Inspector (SI) / Daroga recruitment under Advertisement No. 05/2025. A total of 1799 vacancies have been notified for the Home (Police) Department, Government of Bihar.

The Preliminary Examination is scheduled to be conducted on 18th and 21st January 2026 at designated exam centers across the state. Eligible candidates will be able to download their admit cards from 30th December 2025 onwards through the official BPSSC website: bpssc.bihar.gov.in.

Bihar Police SI Admit Card 2025 – Download Notice

  • The e-admit cards for the Preliminary Written Examination of Bihar Police Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment will be available for download from 30th December 2025 on the official BPSSC website: bpssc.bihar.gov.in (under the Bihar Police section). The examination will be held in two shifts on 18th January 2026 (Sunday) and 21st January 2026 (Wednesday).
  • Candidates are required to download and print their admit cards in advance. To enter the examination venue, candidates must carry the printed e-admit card along with a valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, or Passport.
  • In case the photograph on the e-admit card is unclear or missing, candidates must bring two passport-sized photographs, matching the one previously submitted with the application form, to the examination center.

Bihar Police SI Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2026

  • The Bihar Police Sub Inspector recruitment written examination will be conducted in two stages: Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. All papers in both stages will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), and negative marking will be applicable.
  • In the Preliminary Examination, candidates will be required to answer 100 questions carrying a total of 200 marks within a duration of 2 hours. This paper will focus on General Knowledge and Current Affairs. Candidates securing less than 30% marks in this stage will be deemed ineligible for the Main Examination.
  • The Main Examination will be conducted for candidates who qualify in the prelims and will consist of two papers. The first paper will be of General Hindi, comprising 100 questions for 200 marks with a duration of 2 hours. Scoring at least 30% marks in this paper is mandatory; failing to do so will result in disqualification. However, the marks obtained in this paper will not be counted towards the final merit list.
  • The second paper will include questions from General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics, and Mental Ability/Reasoning. This paper will also carry 200 marks with 100 questions and a time duration of 2 hours.
  • A penalty of 0.2 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer in both stages. The answer sheet will be provided in duplicate format, with one copy retained by the commission for verification and record purposes.
